With such exciting anticipation, I am so glad to have a blog on my website.
This week is going to be a lot of fun. I have Tasty Tuesday, an event for future brides at Mitchell's Catering. The food is going to be great as always. I will be showcasing my lighting and providing music. I am going to be trying out some creative lighting where I will create a scaled down version of multiple colors that move like tree limbs in the wind. It is a prototype for an event that I am doing in the summer where we will be creating an enchanted forest with a huge rainforest-like tree in the middle of the room.
The music is going to feature top 40 acoustic, acid jazz, euro with a touch of 40-60s swing.
On Saturday, I am lighting a wedding at a medieval-styled venue as well as for a fund raiser for women's cancers with UNC/Rex Hospitals. We are taking a brand new empty office complex and creating a festive 70's looking dinner gala. This place doesn't even have power at this moment, Hopefully that will change in a day or so.
I love what I do, the design, the coordination and the final look and feel that we provide for each event.
